Hey Misfits,
Thanks again to Bill and Brooks for carrying the mantle last week, for leading us well in reflection through song and conversation, and to all of you for indulging my absence and my appetite for endurance punishment.
-Ben
This week, we're back at it with our not so classical approach to Easter, though simple questions about the art of living. Some manifestation of The Gypsy House Band will lead and challenge us through musical and lyrical reflection. Then we'll engage some thought, teaching, and discussion on the spectrum of faith and faithfulness. We'll hear some reflections from Ben about endurance training, and how these principles have connected with our understanding of the life of faith, a holistic spirituality, cheap grace, and what love really does... not to set the bar to high for all that can be accomplished in one gathering.
So, join us Sunday night for our gathering, celebration, and journey of faith.
Bring a friend who may have given up on church, but dares to cling to faith in God.
If you enjoy and benefit from what we do together as a tribe, bring a gift to help support this community into the future.
Visit the blog- www.thecanvaschurch.com for regular reflection, conversation, or to catch up on the teachings.
Join us Monday night to play or spectate as we enjoy softball together.
See you all Sunday night!
Grace and Peace
